The accident resulted in part of the cargo being spilled across the southbound lanes. Authorities were forced to close one lane in each direction, causing several kilometers of tailbacks in the Baix Camp region.

Firefighters (Bombers) are currently on-site managing a fuel leak from the truck's tank. Emergency teams are working to contain the spill and clear the debris from the highway to restore normal traffic flow.
