Two arrested for drug trafficking in a Reus building

The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two individuals, aged 20 and 40, in an operation against drug trafficking in a building on Martí Napolità street in Reus.

The police action took place last Thursday afternoon, when officers accessed two apartments in the building, which were allegedly operating as drug dealing points.
During the search, 90 grams of cocaine, 260 grams of marijuana, and 85 grams of hashish were confiscated. Three ecstasy tablets, 3.7 grams of methamphetamine, and various narcotic medications were also found. Additionally, officers seized 820 euros in cash and a large bladed weapon.
According to police sources, the estimated street value of the seized drugs could reach 8,000 euros. The two arrestees, who have prior criminal records, face a drug trafficking charge.
Several dogs were also found inside the residence and have been placed under police custody pending the resolution of legal proceedings related to the detainees' situation.
