Vandellòs and L'Hospitalet Commemorate Diada with Events Across the Municipality

The municipality celebrates Catalonia's National Day on September 11th with a day full of cultural and traditional activities.

The municipality of Vandellòs and L'Hospitalet de l'Infant commemorates Catalonia's National Day on September 11th with a program of activities spanning various locations.

The celebration will begin on Thursday, September 10th, in Masriudoms with a sardine feast and a DJ session, organized by the 'La Capi' Festival Commission.
On Friday, September 11th, the day will start at 10 am at Ca la Torre de Vandellòs with the raising of the Catalan flag (senyera) and the singing of 'Els Segadors', led by Catukra, followed by a popular chocolate treat.
At 11:15 am, Masboquera will host the raising of the senyera on the bell tower and a popular chocolate treat. Later, at 11:45 am, Masriudoms will perform the senyera raising in front of the Sant Jaume parish, also with chocolate.
At 12:30 pm, at the Hospital del Coll de Balaguer in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, there will be a floral offering, the raising of the senyera, and the singing of 'Els Segadors', performed by the Coral Arsis, followed by refreshments.
The program continues at 1:30 pm in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant with the Festa de la Rumba Catalana, organized by the local Festival Commission. At 2:30 pm, in Masriudoms, a popular paella with a musical raffle will be served.
In the afternoon, at 6 pm, Plaça Catalunya in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant will be the venue for a sardana dance with the Cobla Reus Jove. Around 7:30 pm, an afternoon gathering organized by the Festival Commission will commence.
The day's events will conclude at 10 pm in Plaça Drs. Gil Vernet in Vandellòs, with a performance by the group Filferro and 'rom cremat' (burnt rum), organized by the CCERV.
This series of activities aims to commemorate Catalonia's National Day, promoting Catalan culture and traditions for all audiences.
