The Canovelles City Council commemorates the International Day of Peace on September 21st with a central event in the Parc de la Pau, featuring a manifesto reading, micro-theater, and the distribution of white carnations.

The event, starting at 6:00 PM, aims to strengthen ideals of peace and reaffirms the municipality's commitment to coexistence and a culture of peace.
The commemoration will begin with a welcome by Manuel Duarte, Councilor for Citizenship, Coexistence, and Civility, followed by an institutional speech from Mayor Emilio Cordero.
Around 6:30 PM, the reading of the Manifesto for Peace will take place, a key moment of the day.
Following this, at 6:45 PM, the micro-theater play Allez Allez! will be performed. This 25-minute piece, written by Alessio Cruz Nesto and starring Mar Llorca and Víctor Carrera, addresses the human consequences of war conflicts.
Finally, at 7:15 PM, the traditional distribution of white carnations will occur as a symbol of collective commitment to coexistence and non-violence.
The activity will be held in the Parc de la Pau. In case of bad weather, it will be moved to the Teatre Auditori de Can Palots.
