The Wood Guild of Camp de Tarragona will host its first technical seminar in Reus on February 20th, focusing on the essential role of timber in modern construction and industry challenges.

Titled Wood 360º. Innovation and uses in exteriors and structures, the event will take place at REDESSA Viver as part of the Gaudí Year celebrations. The seminar aims to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern business needs through technical lectures and open debates.
The Guild, which recently expanded its scope from Baix Camp to the entire Tarragona region, is actively working on a plan to ensure the profession's survival. By inviting students and apprentices, they hope to tackle the lack of generational turnover that has threatened the sector since the 2007 economic crisis.
