Reus FC Reddis suffered a 2-0 defeat against Espanyol B in Barcelona on Sunday, bringing an end to their impressive seven-match unbeaten run in the league.

The match, played under increasing rain, started with an early warning from Marc Carrasco's side when Andy Alarcón scored, only for the goal to be disallowed for offside in the first minute. Despite the initial parity, Reus dominated possession, facing the constant threat of Espanyol B on the counterattack.
The clearest chance for the visitors came before halftime when Kenneth Soler skillfully beat three defenders, but his powerful cross-shot was saved by goalkeeper Serred. The first half ended goalless, with both teams showing intensity but lacking clear finishing.
The second half saw a shift in momentum. Espanyol B grew stronger in challenges and capitalized on a defensive lapse. Londoño scored the opener with a powerful shot from the edge of the box, catching Álvaro Pacheco off guard after a lateral cross.
As the rain intensified, Reus pushed for an equalizer, even seeing goalkeeper Pacheco attempt a header from a corner. However, Lluc Castell sealed the victory for the hosts in the final play of the game, scoring the definitive 2-0 and preventing Reus from reaching the top spot.
