The Generalitat de Catalunya, through Civil Protection, has activated the INUNCAT plan in alert phase due to the forecast of intense rainfall affecting the municipality of Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant on Tuesday, September 29. The alert will be in effect from midnight until noon.
Rainfall intensities exceeding 20 mm in 30 minutes are expected, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms. In light of this situation, all residents are advised to exercise extreme caution, especially during periods of intense rainfall.
Civil Protection has also issued a series of recommendations to minimize risks. Residents are asked to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rain episodes, not to cross streams, torrents, or flood-prone areas, either on foot or by vehicle, and to remove or secure objects that could fall or be swept away by the wind.
