In Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, intense showers, thunderstorms, strong wind gusts, and possible severe weather phenomena are expected. The Meteorological Service of Catalonia forecasts accumulations exceeding 200 mm in 24 hours in parts of the Tarragona coast and pre-coast.
Given this situation, the Generalitat has decreed restrictions between 8 PM this Saturday, October 3rd, and 2 PM on Sunday, October 4th. Non-essential travel is restricted, and activities in natural areas, urban parks, and gardens, as well as sports, cultural, leisure, and recreational activities, outdoor markets, fairs, and activities in flood-prone areas are suspended.
These measures affect several Catalan regions, including Baix Camp, which includes the municipality of Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant. The public is urged to exercise extreme caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow the instructions of emergency services.
