The Vandellòs and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant Town Hall has begun renovation work to enhance the energy efficiency and insulation of its municipal building, replacing damaged windows and balconies.

Twenty windows and two balconies at the Vandellòs Town Hall, which had significantly deteriorated wooden frames, are being replaced. The new openings, made of PVC with double glazing, are expected to improve the building's thermal and acoustic performance, promoting more efficient energy use.
This project represents a total investment of 21,126.60 euros, including VAT. Of this amount, 20,704.07 euros are financed by the Diputació de Tarragona through the ImpulsDipta Plan. The work, which is already underway, is expected to take one month to complete.
In parallel, during the final quarter of the year, repairs and painting of the entire exterior facade of the Casa de la Vila de l'Hospitalet de l'Infant are scheduled to commence. This intervention is necessary to fix cracks and damage caused by time, as the facade has not undergone such extensive work since the building's inauguration in 1991.
The project also includes the replacement of 107 windows and balconies at the l'Hospitalet de l'Infant building, aiming to enhance energy and acoustic efficiency, mirroring the objectives of the Vandellòs renovations.
The investment for the Casa de la Vila amounts to 102,234.94 euros, including VAT. The Diputació de Tarragona, through the ImpulsDipta Plan, has also granted a subsidy of 100,190.24 euros for these works.
