The DeltaGestió Mancomunitat has taken a new step in joint service provision by agreeing to acquire two plots of land in Sant Jaume d’Enveja. These plots, with a total area of 14,773 m², have been purchased for €112,662.
This space is intended for the construction of an animal shelter, a project shared by the six municipalities belonging to the Mancomunitat. The initiative aims to provide a joint response to the needs for animal reception and care within the member municipalities.
Following the meeting held at the Sant Jaume d’Enveja Town Hall, the mayors of the DeltaGestió municipalities visited the acquired land. Representatives from La Ràpita, Deltebre, l’Aldea, l’Ampolla, Camarles, and Sant Jaume d’Enveja participated in the visit.
Once the acquisition is formalized, the project's drafting will begin to define the characteristics and services of the future shelter. This facility represents a further step in the development of shared services and the cooperation model promoted by DeltaGestió.
