The Deltebre City Council is collaborating with the Secretary of State for Tourism via SEGITTUR to implement the Sustainable Innovation Model for Agritourism Experiences (MISEA), positioning the municipality as a national benchmark.

This strategic initiative aims to link the primary sector with tourism, two fundamental pillars of the local economy, to move towards a more diversified and locally rooted model. The project involves a detailed diagnosis to analyze the tourism potential of activities associated with primary sector companies.

"This project represents a key opportunity for Deltebre, as it allows us to move towards a more diversified, sustainable, and territorially rooted tourism model."

Lola Casanova · Councillor for Tourist Focus, Sustainability, and Beaches
The strategy is based on five main lines of action: professionalization of the sector, enhancement of local products, generation of synergies, sustainability of experiences, and effective market access. Within this framework, a mentoring process will be carried out for 10 local companies to design offers compatible with their productive activity.
Deltebre has been selected as one of the five municipalities nationwide to be part of this pilot project, along with Valencia, Fuerteventura, Sierra de Gata – Las Hurdes, and A Mariña Lucense. Furthermore, the City Council will be present at FITUR starting this Wednesday to formalize the renewal of the Nautical Station and discuss topics such as the solar eclipse in August.
