The decision to renovate the sports facilities was made after a meeting with local football clubs and schools. Initially, a draw was proposed to decide the order, but the Club Deportiu de La Cava declined it to facilitate the start of works at the Camp de l’Aube. Once this first phase is completed, the renovation will move to the municipality's Camp Nou.
“"improve the quality of life and the well-being of the citizens."
The Mayor of Deltebre, Lluís Soler, framed this renovation within the municipal commitment "to continuously invest in improving the municipality's facilities and giving continuity to the unstoppable transformation initiated in recent years." The main goal is enhancing residents' welfare.
The total cost of the award amounts to 670,544.50 euros. The majority of the funding, nearly 93% of the cost, comes from external subsidies: 475,406.77 euros from the PUOSC and 153,061 euros from the Shock Plan for the Improvement of the Basic Network of Public Sports Facilities 2025-2029. Furthermore, the successful bidder will contribute over 100,000 euros in additional improvements to the facilities.
