During the inspection, agents found about twenty vehicles, including cars, SUVs, motorcycles, and tractors, in various stages of repair. Furthermore, the property included a test circuit for checking vehicles after repair and a platform crane for their transport.
The establishment lacked any municipal license or authorization to legally carry out the activity. The warehouses contained professional machinery such as hydraulic lifts and engine extraction pulleys, but operated without basic prevention and protection measures regarding industrial safety or individual protective equipment.
One of the most serious breaches detected by Seprona concerns the inadequate management of hazardous waste, such as used oils and contaminated filters. This violation, classified as serious, could lead to fines of up to 300,000 euros.
Following the inspection, the Guardia Civil processed several administrative sanction proposals which have been forwarded to the competent authorities, including the El Perelló City Council and the regional departments of Vicepresidència, Territori, and Empresa i Treball of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
