The Baix Ebre County Council approved a motion this Friday to support residents suffering from frequent power outages in Tortosa, Roquetes, and other nearby towns.

The initiative, presented by the Junts party, addresses the ongoing electrical supply issues in Aldover, Jesús, Els Reguers, Roquetes, and Tortosa. The council has committed to providing the necessary technical tools to ensure that consumer claims are successful.

"We cannot normalize situations of repeated outages that affect the quality of life of citizens and the economic activity of the territory."

Antoni Gilabert · President of the Baix Ebre County Council
Authorities are urging affected residents to file formal complaints at their local town halls or the County Consumer Office to strengthen the collective defense of consumer rights in the region.
