Bons Tortosa campaign generates nearly 800,000 euros in local sales

The fourth edition of the voucher scheme saw a 2.24% increase in participation and secures funding for 2026.

The Tortosa City Council has concluded the fourth edition of the Bons Tortosa shopping voucher scheme, generating 791,664.99 euros in total sales for local businesses.

From October 3 to November 2, 2025, citizens used 33,692 vouchers, marking a 2.24% increase compared to the previous year. The municipal investment of 168,460 euros supported 180 local shops.

The campaign achieved a multiplier effect of 4.70 euros for every euro invested. Key sectors included food, fashion, and footwear. A new budget of 200,000 euros has been allocated for 2026.
