The Deltebre City Council officially opened the new Josep Bo Music Space this Friday, providing a permanent home for the Espiga d'Or Musical Society and the municipal music school.

The project, which cost 319,901.11 euros, included the construction of the Espiga Hall, a multipurpose venue for rehearsals and performances. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture, Sònia Hernández, and Mayor Lluís Soler.

"The new hall will mark a before and after in the musical training of the municipality."

Sònia Hernández · Minister of Culture
Named after the composer Josep Bo i Curto, the facility honors a founding member of the local musical society. The organization currently supports 70 students and a 50-member symphonic band, playing a vital role in Deltebre's cultural life.
