The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating a 50-year-old man for a crime against road safety after he crashed his car in El Perelló while nearly seven times over the legal alcohol limit.

The incident occurred this Wednesday on the TV-3022 road. Police officers attended a scene where a vehicle had drifted off the road. Upon arrival, they noticed the driver showed clear signs of being under the influence of alcohol.
The breathalyzer test showed a result of 1.67 mg/l, significantly higher than the 0.25 mg/l legal limit. Investigations revealed the man had never held a driving license and was already under a court order banning him from driving.
