El Perelló hosts the 10K and 5K of the CCT Running Series circuit

The event, which includes a Kids' Race, reaches its fifth scoring edition of the calendar in Terres de l’Ebre.

The municipality of El Perelló is preparing to host its popular 10K and 5K athletic race on Saturday, May 23rd, as part of the CCT Running Series Terres de l’Ebre circuit.

The town in the Baix Ebre region will once again become a hub for popular athletics with the celebration of the 10K and 5K races. This competition is the fifth scoring race of the CCT Running Series Terres de l’Ebre 2026 calendar.
The sporting event will commence at 7:00 PM in the plaça de les Corts Catalanes, in front of the Pavelló Poliesportiu del Perelló, with a simultaneous start for both distances. The 10-kilometer route will involve two laps of the urban asphalt circuit, while the 5-kilometer race will complete one lap.
The event benefits from significant local involvement, with numerous volunteers and the collaboration of local businesses and entities, all contributing to a sporting and festive atmosphere.
For the second consecutive year, the program will also feature the Cursa Kids, an initiative aimed at encouraging sports participation and a passion for running among younger participants.
Registration for the races remains open until Thursday, May 21st, and can be completed through the municipal website.
