A group of Chemical Engineering students from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) visited the Ercros plant in Tortosa to gain firsthand knowledge of a formaldehyde production facility, as part of their final degree project preparation.

The university delegation was welcomed by the plant's management, who provided a detailed overview of the factory's industrial operations. The officials addressed technical questions from the aspiring engineers and guided them through a tour of the various sections of the facilities.
During the visit, the students showed particular interest in the production methods, quality control systems, and stringent safety measures implemented at the plant. These aspects are crucial for the development of their academic projects and their professional training.
This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration between academia and the industrial sector. It provides students with valuable practical experience that complements their theoretical education and better prepares them for their future entry into the job market.
