The municipality of Paüls experienced an intense weekend with the celebration of the XXIII Cherry Festival, which attracted a very large number of visitors, including people from increasingly distant towns. The fair filled the town's streets, creating an unbeatable festive atmosphere and demonstrating the event's growing reach.
Stalls from local producers offered high-quality cherries and a variety of artisanal products, which were very well received by the public. Sales exceeded 5,000 kilograms, reinforcing the festival's economic and promotional value for the municipality.
The activity program was designed for all audiences, featuring workshops, children's activities, exhibitions, and meeting spaces. Itinerant music and the collaboration of local entities and residents were key to the success, along with the free taxi service that facilitated attendee mobility.
The mayor of Paüls, Enric Adell, positively assessed the edition, highlighting the large influx of visitors and the festival's consolidation. "We are very happy with the large number of people who have visited us," he stated, emphasizing that "people know us more and want to come and repeat the experience." Adell also thanked the involvement of residents and local entities, saying, "Seeing the town full of people, but also seeing the people of Paüls and the entities participating... is a cause for great satisfaction."
