L'Ametlla de Mar will host a new edition of Aquabars on Saturday, August 22nd, a festival blending music, local establishments, and water activities with a World Cup football theme.

The event will kick off at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall and proceed through various venues in the town, concluding at the Fishermen's Guild, where music will mark the end of the festivities.
Participants can purchase a 5-euro pack, which includes the event's cup and a World Cup-themed item, such as a captain's armband or referee cards. These packs will be available from 5:00 PM at the Town Hall, while supplies last.
At the same time, face painting will be offered, allowing attendees to choose the football team they wish to represent. The inaugural route will start at the Town Hall, with La Botigueta bar in Plaça Catalunya as the first stop.
The route will continue towards Plaça Nova, where B&V bar has a surprise planned. Afterward, the celebration will move through Txemari and Portxos del Cip, with a stop at La Penya, before reaching the Fishermen's Guild, where Taverna del Port will be the final meeting point.
Water will be a central element, with buckets available at each stop to refill water guns and keep participants refreshed throughout the route.
The musical entertainment will be provided by the band Tocats de LALA, who performed last year and include a local musician. At the Guild, DJ Sergio Calero will close the event.
The organizers are confident in replicating the success of previous editions and invite both residents and visitors to join and support the participating businesses.
