The project plans to replace the existing pavement with an innovative material made of bamboo fibers and resins, ensuring a substantial improvement in the promenade's quality. The L'Ampolla council emphasizes that this solution is more sustainable, offers greater durability, and superior resistance to harsh maritime conditions, reducing maintenance needs in the medium and long term.
“"The planned deadlines will be met, and we will constantly monitor the work to guarantee its good pace and final quality."
The project was initially tendered with a base budget of 346,051.57 euros (excluding VAT). The final contract awarded to Mobles Bràfim SL amounts to 321,827.96 euros (excluding VAT). The established execution period is four months, with the intention that the new promenade will be fully operational before the summer season.
This Friday, a first technical visit to the maritime promenade was conducted by the works director, the engineer, representatives of the contracting company, the mayor of L'Ampolla, several councilors, and municipal technicians. The council, while confident in meeting deadlines, has requested understanding regarding possible temporary disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions.
