The weekend of September 11-13 arrives in Terres de l'Ebre with a packed agenda of activities to make the most of the last days of summer. Local festivals continue to be the highlight in various municipalities, with programming that includes music, popular culture, and gastronomy for all audiences. Additionally, the region commemorates Catalonia's National Day with institutional and cultural events.
Municipalities such as Aldover (August 29 - September 11), Horta de Sant Joan (September 4-13), Benifallet (September 7-12), Bítem (September 10-20), and La Ràpita (September 4-12) are celebrating their local festivals with street and square activities.
Catalonia's National Day is also celebrated throughout the Ebre region with events spread across various municipalities. These celebrations include manifesto readings, floral offerings, institutional speeches, and expressions of popular culture such as music and sardanes. In Baix Ebre, events are highlighted in Aldover, Benifallet, Camarles, Deltebre, El Perelló, L'Aldea, L'Ametlla de Mar, L'Ampolla, Roquetes, Tivenys, Tortosa, and Xerta. In Montsià, celebrations will take place in Alcanar, Amposta, Godall, Freginals, La Galera, La Ràpita, La Sénia, Masdenverge, Sant Jaume d'Enveja, Santa Bàrbara, and Ulldecona. In Ribera d'Ebre, activities are concentrated in Benissanet, Flix, Garcia, Ginestar, La Torre de l'Espanyol, Miravet, Móra d'Ebre, Móra la Nova, Riba-roja d'Ebre, and Tivissa. In Terra Alta, events in Bot and Corbera d'Ebre are noteworthy.
Gastronomy also plays a significant role. In Roquetes, the fifth edition of «De Roquetes Vi, i Punyetes Baixo» is being held, a gastronomic fair of wines and local products featuring zero-kilometer tapas and musical performances.
