Rail passengers on the R16 line expressed their frustration this Thursday regarding service failures between Barcelona and Terres de l'Ebre, citing persistent delays and poor maintenance.

The railway situation in the Ebre region has reached a breaking point for many commuters. Social media is flooded with complaints about dirty seats and overcrowded carriages. This decline in the R16 service follows ongoing issues on the R15 line after an accident in Gelida last month.

"When the train finally arrives, we can't get on. People are left on the platform while others manage to squeeze in like sardines."

Beyond logistics, passengers are concerned about antisocial behavior and a lack of security staff. The Trens i Transports Dignes platform described the daily commute as an ordeal, further complicated this Thursday by an incident near L'Ametlla de Mar station.
