Under the theme 'Museums for Education and Research', the cultural facility has designed a diverse agenda combining art, history, and music. Activities began with a talk on the artist Antoni Casanova Estorach, serving as a prelude to guided tours of the exhibition Entre dos segles, featuring works by masters such as Francesc Gimeno and Agustí Querol.
The cultural offering expands with the opening of an exhibition by high school students from Institut Dertosa, titled Entre mirades. This exhibition establishes a generational dialogue with 19th-century artists, providing a contemporary perspective on gender roles and the representation of women in art.
The highlight of the celebration will arrive on Saturday with the Night of the Museums, featuring a musical performance by Xarim Aresté. The musician will present his latest work, Punt de creu, in an intimate setting within the museum's permanent exhibition hall.
In addition to the recreational offer, the city council has confirmed the museum's participation in the Apropa Cultura program. This initiative aims to facilitate access to cultural leisure for vulnerable groups, following the path of other municipal facilities such as the Auditori Felip Pedrell.
