The Mossos d'Esquadra police force arrested three individuals this Tuesday in Tortosa after they stole a woman's handbag in a commercial parking lot using a ruse.

The incident took place in the underground parking area of a local supermarket. While the victim was loading groceries into her car, one suspect distracted her by asking for directions to Barcelona, allowing an accomplice to snatch her belongings from the vehicle.
Witnesses provided a photograph of the getaway car, enabling police to track the suspects. Officers intercepted the vehicle shortly after on the AP-7 highway heading north.
The detainees, aged between 21 and 49, have prior criminal records for property crimes. They were found with a significant amount of unexplained cash and have been handed over to the Tortosa judicial authorities.
