The city of Tortosa has hosted the first edition of the solidarity event ‘La Cinta es mou’, an initiative promoted by the Jesús es Mou Association and the City Council to raise funds for the fight against childhood cancer.

The event, held at the municipal velodrome, aims to revive the spirit of past solidarity initiatives such as ‘La Cuca es mou’ or ‘La Llotja es mou’, transforming the venue into a festive and charitable meeting point.
All proceeds will be entirely donated to Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, with the goal of strengthening the fight against childhood cancer. The organizers remind the public that donations can still be made through their social media channels and their 'fila zero'.
The day combined music, solidarity, and the festive atmosphere of the Festa Major. The organizers express their hope to repeat this event in the coming years, establishing it as an annual charitable occasion in the city.
