Salou plans new municipal space at Botanical Garden for activity and coexistence
The council allocates 2.5 million euros to a multipurpose facility combining sports, health, culture, and leisure for all ages.

The Salou City Council has presented a project to transform the Botanical Garden into a new municipal facility for citizen activity, well-being, and coexistence.
The municipality of Salou is promoting the creation of a new municipal space at the Botanical Garden, designed to offer sports, cultural, training, leisure, and well-being activities for the community. This initiative has an estimated budget of 2,547,600.98 euros.
The future facility will not be limited to sports practice but will host disciplines such as martial arts, tai chi, table tennis, and chess, aiming to be a meeting point open to people of all ages and profiles. The proposal will leverage the natural characteristics of the Botanical Garden to integrate nature with the planned activities.
Multipurpose indoor and outdoor spaces are planned to host activities throughout the year. The project's design costs 171,318.89 euros, and construction is expected to begin in the autumn of 2027. This initiative is part of the municipal strategy to modernize Salou's facilities and improve quality of life.
