The Tortosa City Council celebrated this Saturday the presentation of the 8M Awards for Tortosan Women at the Museum of Tortosa, an event to highlight female talent and social commitment.

The second edition of these awards honored prominent figures such as dressmaker Pilar Araujo Daufí, the Pla Sisters from the local trade sector, dancer Anna Maria Bel Curto, and sports journalist Vicky Maigí Barreda. In the scientific field, geologist Andrea Puentes García and marine ecology researcher Judith Camps Castellà were recognized.
