The Tortosa City Council has opened the deadline until February 13 for the second edition of the 8M Awards, recognizing the trajectory of relevant women in various social and cultural fields.

The deadline for submitting proposals for the second edition of the 8M Awards for Women of Tortosa remains open until February 13. These awards, promoted by the Tortosa City Council, seek to highlight the contributions of women in seven categories: Culture, Entrepreneur, Athlete, Scientist, External Projection, Trajectory, and Posthumous Title, in addition to a special recognition for a collective.
Nominations, which exceeded 80 proposals last year, can be submitted by both organizations and the general public. The winners will be decided in an extraordinary Women's Council meeting to be convened once the submission period has closed.
