The city of Tortosa will mark World Poetry Day on Friday, March 20th, with a special performance dedicated to the work of Mallorcan poet Blai Bonet.

The event will take place at 7:00 PM at the Territorial Culture Services exhibition hall. It is part of the 19th edition of World Poetry Day in Catalonia, which features a decentralized program across nine different municipalities this year.
Titled Veus mediterrànies: d'al-Turtuší a Blai Bonet, the show blends poetry readings with live music. Local groups including the Consortium for Linguistic Normalization and the Down Syndrome Collective will participate in the recital.
Singer-songwriter Arturo Gaya will perform songs from his latest album, Ets tan pobre que només tens diners, providing a musical backdrop to the literary celebration in the Terres de l'Ebre region.
