The incident occurred around 7:54 PM when a car, driven by an 80-year-old woman, was exiting a stop sign to merge onto the avenue. At that moment, a motorcycle traveling on the avenue collided with the right side of the car. The exact causes of the collision are still under investigation.
The car driver was unharmed. However, the motorcyclist was thrown by the impact and fell to the ground. He was transferred to Verge de la Cinta Hospital in very serious condition, where he ultimately died the day after the accident.
