The incident occurred around 4:25 AM, prompting a response from the Bombers de la Generalitat, who dispatched two units to the scene. The truck was found blocking all southbound lanes.

According to the Catalan Transit Service, the driver was uninjured in the accident. Emergency crews waited for specialized cranes and road maintenance services to clear the heavy vehicle from the site.

Traffic is currently being diverted through exit 281 towards Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, following the N-340 coastal road as an alternative route.
