The L'Ametlla de Mar City Council launched the La Cala més natural plan, funded with 12,000 euros from Next Generation funds, to train the tourism and commercial sectors in new trends and digitalization.

This initiative is part of the municipality's Tourism Sustainability Plan and aims primarily to improve the competitiveness of the local business fabric. The total budget of 12,000 euros is fully financed by European Union funds, emphasizing the commitment to modernization and market adaptation.

"The goal is to equip professionals with current tools for marketing, digitalization, and management to adapt to the profile of the current visitor and new forms of tourist consumption."

The training program is divided into two key actions. The first focuses on innovation in tourism product creation, specifically aimed at the restaurant sector. The second training focuses on innovation and the practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), targeting the entire tourism, commercial, and business structure of the locality.
The first training action, focused on restoration, will begin on February 16 and will last approximately one month. The second, on AI and digitalization, will start in mid-March. Both training sessions will be free of charge, combining online, in-person sessions, and personalized mentoring.
