Occupancy data for 2025, released by Intel·litur, places L'Ametlla de Mar at the top of the ranking for the Terres de l’Ebre region. The Baix Ebre municipality concentrated 18.4% of overnight stays, followed by La Ràpita (11.3%), Tortosa (10.3%), and Alcanar (9.4%).
“"We are very proud to know how to combine tourism with sustainability and preserve the essence of a seafaring town with highly valued resources."
The local council positively assesses these results, attributing them to a tourism offer that is "consolidated, diverse, and adapted to new visitor demands." The local model seeks a balance between economic activity, visitor experience, and the well-being of residents.
L’Ametlla de Mar particularly stands out for family, nature, and gastronomic tourism, thanks to its more than 20 kilometers of coves, high-level nautical offerings, and a coastal path that has become a major attraction. The Catalan market remains the main source of visitors (2.697 thousand tourists), followed by the Valencian Community, France, and Aragon, with a growing presence of international markets such as Germany and the United Kingdom.
