A joint public safety operation involving four police forces inspected three premises on Catalunya Avenue in Tortosa on Wednesday night, resulting in three arrests and 28 individuals being identified.

The operation focused on three establishments in the Ferreries neighborhood and involved personnel from the Mossos d'Esquadra, the National Police, the Civil Guard, and the Tortosa Local Police. The actions began around seven in the evening.
The three arrests were made for different reasons: two individuals were detained for drug trafficking, and a third for violating immigration law. The National Police carried out the arrests.
In addition to the arrests, 28 people were identified during the operation; some of them had previous police records for property crimes. The Mossos cited two individuals for possession of narcotics and issued a summons for an outstanding judicial requirement.
The Tortosa Local Police issued several citations for administrative irregularities found in the inspected venues. These included failing to display municipal activity licenses, lacking licenses for audiovisual material, and having expired fire extinguisher inspections.
