The Begur Town Council is organizing the sixth edition of the Re-Utilitza Fair on November 29th at the Esclanyà Polivalent Hall, an initiative to promote object reuse and raise awareness about responsible consumption.

The event, held from 10 am to 1 pm, will feature an exchange market where participants can give a new life to items they no longer need, contributing to waste reduction and extending product lifespan.
The program also includes the workshop "Instruments Trastocats" (from 10 am to 11:30 am), a participatory activity to discover the sound possibilities of everyday objects and materials in a fun and creative way.
At 11:45 am, the fair will host a musical aperitif by ‘Swimming in a Pan’, a Costa Brava band blending influences from rock, soul, rhythm-and-blues, country, and swing, closing the morning with live music.
The Councilor for Environment, Jordi González, highlights the fair's role in reminding people that "many things we throw away can still have a second life" and emphasizes the Council's commitment to "promoting initiatives that help incorporate more sustainable habits".
With this edition, Begur reaffirms its commitment to environmental awareness and waste prevention, inviting residents and visitors to participate in a morning of exchange, creativity, and music in Esclanyà.
