A fire in a stubble field in Forallac led to the confinement of the Canapost area, home to 17 residents. The measure was lifted at 6:11 PM.

Civil Protection announced the end of the confinement in Canapost, within the municipality of Forallac, at 6:11 PM. This decision was made after observing significant improvement in the efforts to extinguish the fire affecting a stubble field.
The fire was reported at 3:50 PM. Fueled by a southerly wind, the flames generated secondary outbreaks, requiring the deployment of 21 Firefighter units, including six aerial teams. Initial efforts focused on stopping the fire's tail to limit its spread.
Extinguishing teams worked on both the tail and the right flank of the fire, supported by local agricultural machinery. Despite the wind, the fire's progression speed was not excessive, allowing personnel to track it on foot.
The situation improved when the left flank ceased advancing, and the Firefighters ruled out the flames reaching a nearby dwelling. Just over two hours after the initial alert, the confinement of Canapost was lifted. Emergency teams remain on site to secure the perimeter and manage secondary outbreaks.
