The plenary session of the Calonge i Sant Antoni Town Council has unanimously approved the Local Youth Plan 2026-2030, which will guide municipal youth policies for the next five years.

The document, the municipality's fourth strategic plan in this area, outlines four main action axes: emancipation towards autonomy, health and leisure, active participation, and the promotion of inclusion and social cohesion.
The plan includes around seventy actions, many of which continue existing projects, while others introduce improvements and new initiatives tailored to the current needs of young people.
Key challenges include consolidating the new Sant Antoni Youth Space, seen as crucial for expanding services and creating new meeting points. Programs like the Casal Jove, leisure-related training courses, and research project support will also be maintained.
Other objectives involve strengthening youth participation, supporting local entities, promoting the Youth Employment Campus, and enhancing the relationship with the Institut Puig Cargol.

"The new facility in Sant Antoni will allow us to bring services closer and generate new participation opportunities. She also highlights the need to increase the presence of Catalan in the municipality's youth activities and spaces."

Anna Tena · Youth Councillor

"The document is the result of joint work between the administration, professionals, and youth, aiming to build a municipality with more opportunities and prepared to face future challenges."

Jordi Soler · Mayor of Calonge i Sant Antoni
