Among the highlighted proposals is a cybersecurity course, designed to teach participants how to browse the internet safely and avoid risks such as digital scams. The sessions include practical content on online shopping, secure payment methods, efficient password management, and the use of digital banking.
These training sessions, currently attended by about twenty participants, are held weekly in a local facility and are exclusively for residents registered in the municipality. The initiative is part of the 'Més Digitals' project, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and other entities, which seeks to improve the digital skills of the population and prevent exclusion.
The current program continues other training courses held last year, thus consolidating a line of work focused on facilitating access for seniors to digital tools. With these actions, the municipality aims to ensure that citizens have the necessary knowledge to navigate the digital environment safely.
