The Generalitat's Civil Protection agency deactivated wind and wave alerts across Catalonia this Monday morning following a weekend of intense weather conditions.

The Catalan Meteorological Service reported that the strongest gusts were recorded in northern regions, including Baix Empordà. Emergency services received nearly 2,000 calls, leading to over 1,000 interventions by Firefighters to clear roads and secure damaged infrastructure.
Four people sustained minor injuries during the storm. Meanwhile, utility companies are working to restore electricity and telecommunications in several areas where fallen trees damaged the network.
