The 39th edition of the Festa del Pedal will kick off at 10 AM from Mossèn Gumersind square in Sant Joan. The event, organized by the Sant Joan Residents' Association and the Palamós City Council, offers a popular, recreational, and sporting route of approximately 12 kilometers.
The route, which is mostly flat, is designed for family enjoyment and will showcase the municipality's natural and scenic areas. The ride will include a first stop at the car park of Castell beach for refreshments with breakfast and water.
Subsequently, the cycling event will continue along the paths of the Castell natural park before returning to the starting point, where participants will receive a second refreshment stop. The day will conclude with a party in Mossèn Gumersind square, featuring inflatables, music, and a raffle for sports equipment.
Advance registrations cost €3 via the Palamós Esportiu website, while registrations made on the day of the event will be €4. Bib numbers can be collected on Sunday at Mossèn Gumersind square, one hour before the start.
