The emergency services have ordered the confinement of Canapost's 17 inhabitants, who must remain indoors with their doors and windows closed. According to emergency corps sources, the fire is evolving favorably.
The fire originated in a stubble field and advanced rapidly due to the south wind, creating secondary outbreaks. The firefighting deployment includes twenty ground units and six aerial resources, along with agricultural machinery.
The same sources indicate that this is the only large-scale fire currently active in Catalonia. The deployed operation is larger than usual for such an incident, aiming to stabilize it as quickly as possible and prevent its spread.
In parallel, firefighters have declared another agricultural fire in Parlavà stabilized, where 14 units, two of them aerial, were dispatched.
