This project triggers a comprehensive transformation of the waste system in La Bisbal d'Empordà, aiming for higher efficiency and sustainability. The plan includes a complete redesign of collection methods, evaluating the feasibility of door-to-door systems in specific areas. The study is expected to be completed within three months.
The investment includes smart containers equipped with user identification systems. Furthermore, enclosed areas with video surveillance will be installed to enhance security and reduce illegal dumping across the municipality.
