The project, valued at 41,797.02 euros, is funded by the Next Generation EU program. This new infrastructure will allow the facility to generate its own electricity, significantly reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions for the municipality.
The installation uses a collective self-consumption model, optimizing energy distribution within the building during daylight hours. This project brings the total solar capacity across municipal buildings to over 93 kW, following a total investment of 125,000 euros.
“"Each new solar panel installation represents an investment that does not come from public funds and one less ton of CO2 in the atmosphere."
