The Figueres Athletics Association achieved third place as a club in the final round of the Absolute Territorial Championship held in Palafrugell. The AAF accumulated 218 points, placing them behind GEiEG (403) and CN Banyoles (261), and slightly ahead of CA Palafrugell (211).
In the individual and relay events, the Alt Empordà team secured a total of seven territorial titles. Queralt Sala finished first among Girona athletes in the 400 meters (1:02.86). Anwar Slilam won the U18 110-meter hurdles (personal best of 14.21), and Ada Serrano, the absolute 100-meter hurdles (14.38).
Idalky Paulino achieved a double in the U18 shot put (12.5 meters) and the U18 discus throw (37.8 meters). His teammate Alianna Paulino also excelled in discus, with a mark of 34.28 meters.
Finally, the mixed 4x400 relay team, composed of Nil Rodríguez, Sònia Ferrer, David Ruiz, and Queralt Sala, took the gold medal with a time of 4:07.56 minutes.
In addition to the successes in Palafrugell, Idalky Paulino has been called up to the Spanish national team to compete in the Iberian Tournament in Portugal next weekend. He will be one of three athletes selected for the decathlon event in the U18 category.
