The fire in Baix Empordà, which started in La Bisbal d'Empordà, has reached several urbanizations in Calonge, affecting external elements and burning an empty house and a farmhouse.

The fire that broke out in Baix Empordà, specifically in La Bisbal d'Empordà, remains out of control and has reached some urbanizations in Calonge. In addition to affecting external and garden elements, the flames have burned an empty house in Les Cabanyes and a farmhouse on the left flank of the perimeter.
According to David Borrell, chief inspector of the Firefighters, speaking to the media, 70% of the right flank has been stabilized, which is the most concerning due to the potential impact of the sea breeze. Borrell urged the public to remain confined to their homes and warned of the danger of self-evacuations, calling them a "reckless act" due to the high vulnerability of being outdoors.

"The vulnerability of being outside is very high, it is a reckless act."
