Police arrested a 26-year-old man in Palafrugell this Monday morning for a crime against public health after discovering drugs hidden in Mont-ras.

The investigation began on February 14 following a tip from a local resident in Mont-ras. The witness reported seeing a young man hiding objects inside an olive tree located on a private estate path.
Officers discovered a bag hidden within a hollow branch containing 18 wraps of cocaine and six pieces of hashish. The suspect, who has a prior police record, was eventually located and detained in Palafrugell.
