Around 300 participants gathered this Saturday, March 21st, for the Equality Walk, a community event connecting Santa Cristina d'Aro and Sant Feliu de Guíxols to advocate for gender rights.

The march, which was rescheduled due to previous bad weather, took place during the first weekend of spring. This timing encouraged high attendance and a festive atmosphere across the Baix Empordà region.
The 7-kilometer route followed the local bike path, passing through Castell d'Aro, Platja d'Aro, and S'Agaró. The itinerary aimed to unite different municipalities in a shared social awareness action.
Part of the International Women's Day celebrations, the event featured a manifesto reading at the start and concluded with a community breakfast and various social activities for all citizens.
