The Palafrugell Primary Care Center has launched the Active Health Waiting Rooms project, an initiative designed to turn waiting times into opportunities for reflection, learning, and community connection.

Located on the second floor, the project features three permanent areas. These include a book-sharing space supported by the Palafrugell Library, an exhibition area for local artists, and a green space developed by the Tramuntana organization to foster a more welcoming atmosphere.

"Art and culture play a therapeutic role in people's well-being and the project's ability to foster social cohesion."

Margarita Mauri · City Councilor for Health
Selected as one of ten excellence projects by the Primary and Community Care Strategy Directorate, the program aims to reduce social inequalities. The current exhibition, featuring works from the Palafrugell Art School, will be on display until the end of March.
